Associate General Counsel - Remote

Overview

As the Associate General Counsel, you will be primarily responsible for supporting our internal teams with a wide variety of tasks and projects including contracting with major healthcare systems and managing corporate legal projects.

In Short

• Support internal teams including Sales, Product, Data Science, and Customer Success.
• Manage corporate legal projects and complex legal challenges.
• Collaborate on product development, SaaS contracting, and compliance issues.
• Handle HIPAA and data privacy regulations.
• Negotiate complex SaaS licensing agreements.
• Address vendor agreements and intellectual property matters.
• Involve in mergers and acquisitions.
• 8+ years of experience as a healthcare regulatory/software product attorney.
• High emotional intelligence and adaptability to changing environments.
• Ability to travel to Austin, Texas for onboarding and meetings.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in healthcare law.
• Skills in healthcare/healthtech contract negotiations.
• Hands-on product development experience.
• Experience with HIPAA and data privacy compliance.
• Strong relationship skills and emotional intelligence.
• Energy to support building an in-house legal function.
• Ability to adapt to a growth organization.
