Associate General Counsel - Remote

Overview

Nautilus Solar Energy’s (“NSE”) Associate General Counsel will be responsible for supporting NSE’s solar project acquisition, development, EPC negotiations and financing transactions. The Associate General Counsel will be a key member of a growing legal team and can have the opportunity to be integrally involved through the life cycle of a project. The position will report directly to the Deputy General Counsel and is remote.

In Short

• Provide transactional assistance and support on a variety of solar acquisition, development and financing transactions.
• Manage project due diligence and negotiate purchase agreements.
• Negotiate EPC contracts and related documents.
• Manage and coordinate with developers, EPC contractors and outside counsel.
• Support NSE departments in navigating legal issues during project phases.
• Provide organizational support to managing outside counsel.

Requirements

• Experience in legal support for solar energy projects.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Familiarity with EPC contracts.
