Director of HR Services - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of HR Services to lead and elevate our human resources operations across a defined geographic region. This strategic leadership role will guide core HR processes—ranging from onboarding and compliance to employee relations and performance management—while fostering a positive, people-first culture.

In Short

• Lead and execute HR strategies that align with business goals, covering the full employee lifecycle: onboarding, performance, compensation, engagement, and offboarding.
• Serve as the primary HR partner to regional leadership and guide business leaders on all people-related matters.
• Manage a team of HR Generalists, ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery of HR services.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, labor regulations, and internal policies.
• Act as a trusted advisor for employees and managers, offering guidance on HR policies, performance, employee relations, and development.
• Partner with cross-functional teams such as Payroll, HRIS, and Benefits to drive operational excellence.
• Foster a culture of transparency, empowerment, and continuous improvement across the organization.
• Lead or support employee investigations, ensuring fairness, confidentiality, and legal compliance.
• Drive HR projects and initiatives including professional development, onboarding programs, HR technology optimization, and employee recognition.
• Leverage tools like ADP (MyHR) to manage employee records and support data-driven decisions.

Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 4 years in a leadership capacity.
• Strong background in a consulting, matrixed, or fast-paced enterprise environment.
• Proven expertise in employee relations, performance management, policy development, compliance, and total rewards.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. employment law and regulatory practices.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills, with experience managing and developing HR teams.
• Experience implementing and managing HRIS platforms (ADP preferred).
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working cross-functionally and driving HR initiatives in a remote work environment.
