Overview

We are seeking a Social Media & Digital Content Manager to enhance the presence of NETGEAR consumer products across social platforms, targeting end users, partners, and influencers. You will develop and execute strategic social media initiatives that drive engagement, brand awareness, and executive visibility among tech fans, buyers, influencers, and content creators. You’ll create compelling content, oversee multi-platform campaigns, and leverage AI-driven tools and insights to optimize performance. This role involves managing influencer partnerships, aligning messaging with business objectives, and staying ahead of industry trends. Your work will bridge the technical features of NETGEAR consumer products with the needs and desires of tech fans, families, and trendsetters. This is a hybrid role, expected to be onsite 3 days a week in our San Jose HQ.

In Short

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with NETGEAR’s business objectives.
  • Target specific personas and end-users most likely to purchase products or resonate with our brand message.
  • Help to promote NETGEAR’s mission, vision, and values, while winning new fans and followers.
  • Strategically react to the news, and trends and participate in competitive depositioning.
  • Optimize campaigns for LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, and emerging B2B-friendly platforms.
  • Produce engaging content, such as thought leadership posts, videos, unboxings, tips, and tricks.
  • Use AI tools to analyze content performance and optimize for better engagement.
  • Foster relationships with industry influencers, partners, and customer communities.
  • Track KPIs such as engagement rates, follower growth, website traffic, and lead generation.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in networking and consumer technology.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B social media marketing, preferably in consumer technology, home networking, or IoT products.
  • Proven expertise in using social media to influence target customers and tastemakers.
  • Strong knowledge of LinkedIn and YouTube for networking and content dissemination.
  • Experience with building and managing an employee advocacy program, using industry-standard tools and platforms.
  • Proficiency with AI tools and platforms and data analysis.
  • Flexible team player willing to ramp up quickly and take ownership.
