Overview

The Account Manager (AM) is responsible for managing a territory, building relationships, and securing profitable new business while providing support to existing accounts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or business-related field (MBA preferred).
  • 5+ years of sales or sales support experience in a clinical/laboratory market.
  • Strong closing skills and attendance at formal sales training.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Demonstrated record of achievement in sales.
  • Proficient in oral, written, and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of clinical/laboratory market environment.
  • Ability to work under deadline pressure.
  • Proficient with MS Office programs.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel (up to 75% of the time).
