Overview

The Learning Experience Designer II independently designs and develops engaging, scalable learning experiences that strengthen employee performance, operational performance, and patient care.

• Design and develop comprehensive, blended learning experiences and content independently.
• Manage learning projects of moderate to high complexity from scoping to implementation.
• Apply instructional design, adult-learning theory, user experience (UX) principles, and creative storytelling.
• Exercise independent judgment on design strategy, modality selection, and implementation approach.
• Optimize tools and technology to enhance scalability and user experience.
• Review and maintain templates and design standards; provide peer feedback.
• Mentor Learning Experience Designer I team members.
• Build cross-functional partnerships with SMEs and business leaders.
• Package and deploy learning through various platforms.
• Monitor rollout progress and learner participation.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in instructional design, eLearning development, or learning consulting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communications, or related field.
• Advanced proficiency with authoring and creative tools like Articulate Storyline and Adobe Captivate.
• Deep understanding of adult learning theory and instructional frameworks.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently.
• Strong storytelling, writing, and visual design skills.
• Experience mentoring peers and coordinating vendor design efforts preferred.
