Overview

The Materials Technical Support Specialist will utilize specialized knowledge and experience with Multivac materials and equipment to assist in the troubleshooting, isolation, and correction of packaging issues to ensure customer satisfaction with Multivac film performance. This position will serve as an advisor on how the use and maintenance of Multivac packaging equipment affects materials performance in final package function and appearance.

In Short

  • Partner closely with Regional Service Management, Materials Sales team, and Regional Service Schedulers.
  • Provide customer feedback to sales and service teams.
  • Assist in troubleshooting packaging and film material issues.
  • Provide education on materials applications.
  • Optimize machine performance with customers.
  • Participate in regional machine installations.
  • Assist the Materials Sales team during film trials.
  • Create detailed reports and Technical Sales Quotes.
  • Make travel arrangements within company policy.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or similar.
  • Four years of experience servicing Multivac equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems.
  • Current valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a passport.
