Technical Product Manager - Remote

Overview

The Technical Product Manager serves as the subject matter expert for the assigned product line(s) and is responsible for providing pre-delivery technical guidance to Sales, Application Engineering, Product Marketing Management, and Customer Service. In collaboration with the Product Marketing Management team, they assist in developing product line strategies and solutions, while offering insights into the technical and financial performance of the product(s).

In Short

• Assist in the development of short- and long-term strategies for assigned product line(s) in line with annual sales budget.
• Proactively research product line dynamics and apply this knowledge to drive strategies for product success.
• Frequently travel with the Sales organization to provide expert technical guidance.
• Develop close working relationships across the organization.
• Ability to set up run and adjust machine settings.
• Familiarity with SECON and machine options.
• Partner with global headquarters on product line(s) to resolve issues.
• Assist Product Marketing Management with new product launches.
• Develop promotional activities for product line(s).
• Support customer visits at Innovation Centers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Five years of experience in capital equipment product management or related field.
• Current valid driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain a passport for travel.
