Overview

The Key Account Manager (KAM) will directly sell MULTIVAC products and services to assigned critical key customer accounts and manage the sales process including pre-sales activities and post-sales follow-up. This position will strategically manage the long-term relationship with key accounts to maximize sales opportunities within them.

  • Maintain and expand relationships with key accounts.
  • Provide necessary information for sales proposals and orders.
  • Leverage resources such as CRM and marketing tools.
  • Participate in strategic account planning.
  • Maintain updated CRM data.
  • Monitor and report on key metrics.
  • Stay abreast of market and customer trends.
  • Participate in trade shows and sales meetings.
  • Actively engage in industry knowledge and sales profession.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related discipline.
  • Seven years of experience selling custom capital equipment.
  • Key account management experience preferred.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems.
  • Current valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to obtain a passport for travel.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
