Overview

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the attainment of overall sales objectives for the McWane Plant & Industrial product portfolio within the given territory. This position requires a high degree of “selling“, whether ideas and policies within the organization or products or services in the marketplace.

In Short

  • Develop and maintain relationships with local and regional distributors, contractors, and municipalities.
  • Implement territory sales plans and influence efforts of stakeholders.
  • Establish and prioritize a project and distributor conversion pipeline.
  • Inform the company of business, product, and competitive trends.
  • Initiate training and development opportunities for representatives and distributors.
  • Demonstrate features and benefits of McWane products.
  • Coordinate activities with various departments to achieve sales objectives.
  • Resolve internal problems that negatively impact customers.
  • Analyze sales levels and trends to ensure attainment of objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the mechanical or industrial industry.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with urgency.
  • Ability to write and execute strategic sales plans.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 60%.
