Director, Shared Financial Services - Remote

Overview

The Director, Shared Financial Services is responsible for leading the Shared Financial Services Team (SFS) and maintaining overall integrity, accountability, and viability of the group. SFS provides shared financial and accounting services to Make-A-Wish chapters who elect to utilize such services offered by the National Office.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.
• 7+ years in accounting/finance; 5+ years in management.
• Experience in nonprofit organizations.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, NetSuite, and Salesforce.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage projects from inception to completion.
• Knowledge of tax and accounting regulations.
• Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
• Strong business ethics.
• Ability to thrive in a remote environment.
