QA Specialist - Remote

Overview

As a QA Specialist in Lightspeed eCom, you will have a central role in the team where you will work closely with Product Managers and Developers to ensure software quality through continuous involvement in the software development process.

In Short

• Be an advocate for quality throughout the development process from planning to production
• Take ownership of managing the regression test suite
• Run and understand failures in automation tests
• Align product quality with customer needs in collaboration with the PM
• Cooperate with fellow QA engineers to maintain quality standards
• Collaborate with the direct team to guarantee product quality

Requirements

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Excellent creative, problem solving, and analytical skills
• Experience writing clear and reproducible defect reports
• Develop, maintain and execute manual test cases
• Commercial experience with acceptance, functional, regression, and exploratory testing
• Experience with performance testing
• Solid understanding of agile testing practices
• Knowledge of database queries (e.g., SQL, noSQL)
• Familiarity with Tools like Jira, Testrail & Postman
• Knowledge of test automation
• ISTQB or some other QA certification
