QA Specialist - Remote

Overview

The QA Specialist is responsible for quality assurance audits and ensuring that website implementation standards are met, with a focus on delivering world-class solutions.

• Ensure consistency between wireframes, design, and technical specifications.
• Track and resolve issues discovered during QA processes.
• Document testing scenarios and processes.
• Identify trends that decrease quality and develop mitigation strategies.

• Research and adapt current advancements in QA processes.
• Build and analyze reporting on the QA phase to aid delivery timelines.
• Perform checks on base code to minimize issues in development.
• Assist development team with basic code edits in HTML or razor code.

Requirements

• Knowledge of WCAG, HTML 5, CSS 3, and responsive design.
• Deadline and detail-oriented.
• Experience writing test plans and cases.
• Experience with relational databases and creating test data.
• Experience with automated testing platforms.
• Understanding of QA methodologies and tools.
• Working knowledge of programming/scripting languages.
• Ability to understand complex systems and triage issues.
• Client-facing experience required.
• Excellent communication skills.
