The Director of Institutional Development at KIND is responsible for expanding revenue generation from institutional prospects, managing donor relationships, and ensuring compliance with grant requirements.

• Develops and leads a comprehensive foundation fundraising strategy.
• Serves as grant manager for all government grants.

• Manages a portfolio of 55-70 current and prospective donors.
• Secures six-, seven-, and eight-figure gifts from foundations and government agencies.
• Leads proposal development and ensures timely submissions.

• Utilizes Salesforce for documenting activities.
• Ability to travel approximately 15% as needed.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree required.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in institutional fundraising.
• Proven track record of securing $5M+ annually.
• Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written.
• Experience supervising and mentoring staff.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
