Overview

The Account Executive, Renewal Sales is a key participant in the Renewals Department responsible for active account management, cross selling, and retaining merchant relations. The Account Executive, Renewal Sales will work with and support other business areas and senior management to increase account penetration, revenue growth, and customer satisfaction.

In Short

  • Create and drive revenue within a specified region or list of accounts
  • Drive revenue and own the full cycle sales process including prospecting, negotiating contracts, and closing renewal business with customers
  • Provide recommendations based on a customer’s business needs and usage patterns
  • Serve as the voice of the customer and collect feedback to thoroughly qualify leads and sales opportunities
  • Handle inbound customer communication and organize/escalate issues appropriately
  • Collaborate with different members to build strategic financial plans for customers
  • Educate and communicate the value of Cash Advance to customers
  • Develop trusted internal and customer relationships
  • Communicate the status of deals to internal management

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and job experience preferred
  • 1+ years of prior full sales cycle experience, ideally in Financial Services
  • Experience collaborating with internal sales teams
  • Ability to engage multiple stakeholders throughout the sales cycle
  • Experience with CRM programs (Salesforce preferred)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to compute basic business math
