Overview

This role is responsible for driving sales growth and retaining clients while providing and recommending next generation telecommunications, data center, cloud, and managed services solutions to new and existing customers. The Regional Sales Director will work closely with Avant’s National Strategic Partners and will further develop and sell additional services into a set base of customers. The Regional Sales Director will enhance the customer experience by executing regular technology reviews, growing and retaining various clients by upselling the latest hybrid cloud technologies in the marketplace and managing the day-to-day customer relationship. This person will be the primary point of contact for clients who have previously purchased these services.

In Short

  • Support the sales and development of existing and net new business opportunities within a defined base of existing clients.
  • Collaborate closely with National Strategic Partner account managers and internal sellers.
  • Grow existing customer share by introducing new solutions.
  • Establish and cultivate working relationships with vendor partners.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of telecommunications and cloud solutions.
  • Create client-facing business development activities.
  • Coordinate prospect meetings and communications.
  • Participate in client seminars and workshops.
  • Deliver polished sales proposals and RFP responses.
  • Manage monthly revenue reports and CRM entries.

Requirements

  • 5 years relevant sales experience in Telecom, Cloud, Data Center, and Managed Services.
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher.
  • Extremely well organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Technologically savvy with familiarity in Word, Excel, PPT.
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of “as-a-service” solutions.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks under time constraints.
  • Passionate about customer satisfaction.
