Overview

The Technical Alignment Engineer plays a vital role in supporting the Technology Alignment Department by providing proactive services and support to clients, ensuring their technologies function smoothly and efficiently.

In Short

• Provide proactive IT support to clients across the Greater Toronto Area.
• Monitor and address client infrastructure issues in a timely manner.
• Perform regular maintenance checks to ensure systems operate smoothly.
• Assist with client onboarding and offboarding procedures.
• Document processes and system reviews for internal records.
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotations as required.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure optimal operations.
• Escalate issues to the Technology Alignment Team Lead as necessary.
• Attend internal and external meetings regularly.
• Adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, or 1-5 years of technical support experience.
• Professional IT certifications such as Microsoft, Citrix, or Cisco.
• Experience in network administration and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of VMware, Windows Servers, and RMM tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems efficiently.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid environment and travel to client sites.
• Strong team player with a proactive approach to work.
