Commercial Counsel - Remote

Overview

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Legal Counsel who excels in a fast-paced environment, can provide practical and solution-based guidance to help drive outcomes and enjoys taking on a diverse range of responsibilities.

In Short

• Draft, review and negotiate various technology transactions and commercial agreements, primarily SaaS agreements.
• Lead the legal aspects of Sales negotiations and provide clear, practical legal advice to the Sales team.
• Drive internal stakeholder collaboration across various teams to address points of negotiation with customers.
• Act as a key point of contact to the Sales team for issues arising during contract negotiation and renewals.
• Educate and advise internal business partners on contractual obligations and legal requirements.
• Stay up-to-date on relevant EU, UK and international laws and regulations.
• Help build scalable and effective legal processes and resources.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of relevant in-house commercial legal experience.
• Strong background in commercial negotiations and drafting agreements.
• Deep understanding of legal issues related to a SaaS-based business.
• Some experience in other substantive areas requiring EMEA legal support.
• Ability to manage numerous projects and deals simultaneously.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to build relationships throughout all levels of the company.
• Currently admitted to practice in Ireland or the UK.
