Overview

As a Senior Account Executive at Instructure, you will drive new business growth and help institutions transform learning through technology by selling the Instructure Learning Platform to Higher Education accounts.

In Short

  • Drive new business growth by introducing and selling the Instructure Learning Platform.
  • Develop and execute account and territory plans.
  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Identify decision-makers and build executive-level relationships.
  • Deliver compelling presentations demonstrating ROI and product value.
  • Build strong internal partnerships across teams.
  • Collaborate with customer success for smooth onboarding.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities in Salesforce.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales/Marketing, or related field.
  • 2+ years of full-cycle sales experience, preferably in SaaS or EdTech.
  • Proven success in building and closing new business.
  • Strong business acumen and consultative selling skills.
  • Highly proficient in Salesforce and other sales tools.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
  • Experience with Higher Education institutions.
