Overview

Instructure is looking for an experienced Sr. Account Executive to join our growing K-12 sales team, focusing on selling educational technology solutions in the Washington, Oregon, and Arizona region.

In Short

  • Sell Canvas, MasteryConnect, LearnPlatform, and more in your assigned territory.
  • Hunt for new logo business while upselling/cross-selling current accounts.
  • Share insights to help prospects evaluate different solutions.
  • Prepare tailored messaging for prospective clients.
  • Guide clients through the purchasing process.
  • Accurately forecast quarterly and annual performance.
  • Develop sales strategies to increase client pipeline.
  • Build relationships with key buyers in districts.
  • Meet/exceed sales quotas within specified time frames.
  • Log account information into Salesforce CRM.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales/Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of proven sales experience.
  • Understanding of educational pedagogy and selling LMS, AMS, and edtech SaaS is a plus.
  • Experience selling enterprise-level software and SaaS.
  • Experience selling at all levels, including “C” level and above.
  • Excellent strategic/consultative sales skills.
  • Ability to conduct detailed needs analysis and proposal development.
  • ~50% travel required.
