Project Manager - Event Technology Operations - Remote

Overview

Seeking an experienced and strategic-minded Event Technology Project Manager to join our Event Technology Operations (ETO) team at Informa Markets. This role requires someone proactive, pragmatic, and positive, who thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional event experiences.

In Short

• Manage end-to-end delivery of event technology solutions for multiple events.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand event requirements.
• Apply Agile methodologies to manage scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Ensure platform and partner configuration is completed accurately.
• Identify risks and escalate as appropriate.
• Ensure QA and UAT for all deliverables.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of delivery playbooks.
• Act as a connector between business teams and technical specialists.
• Coordinate with technical leads for successful event technology integration.
• Support onsite delivery and post-event analysis.

Requirements

• 4+ years of project management experience in event technology.
• CAPM or PMP certification is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of the event lifecycle and digital platforms.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable in an Agile delivery model.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel occasionally (up to 25%).
