Tax Compliance Assistant Vice President - Remote

Overview

iCapital is looking to hire a Tax Compliance Assistant Vice President to join the Fund Finance Central Services team. This position will service hedge and private equity fund of fund and access fund vehicles in conjunction with third-party administrators and tax preparers to ensure timely tax reporting and communication, as well as drive continuous improvement throughout the processes.

In Short

• Coordinate and oversee fund federal and state tax compliance.
• Reconcile and review investor demographics for K-1 preparation.
• Monitor internal and external calendars for stakeholders.
• Manage collection and distribution of tax information.
• Coordinate with third-party tax preparers for fund tax returns.
• Review tax allocations and forms.
• Coordinate payments and deposits for funds.
• Respond to federal and state tax notices.
• Document and maintain procedures and workflows.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 5-10 years tax experience.
• CPA or master’s degree in tax is a plus.
• Understanding of investment partnership taxation.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Ability to learn new systems and technology.
• Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
• Passionate about representing the company with integrity.

Benefits

• Base salary range of $100,000 to $150,000.
