Senior Telecom Engineer - Assistant Vice President - Remote

Overview

iCapital is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Telecom Engineer to lead and scale the enterprise-wide telecom infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on SaaS and CCaaS cloud phone solutions.

In Short

• Lead all telecom initiatives across the enterprise, including CCaaS platforms and SaaS integrations.
• Manage all cloud-based phone systems including Genesys, Vonage VCC/VBC, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams.
• Own vendor relationships and oversee procurement, assignment, and lifecycle management of phone numbers.
• Design and maintain SIP trunking and VoIP infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align telecom solutions with business needs and compliance standards.
• Monitor and troubleshoot latency, connectivity, and call quality issues across platforms.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation including network diagrams, SOPs, and telecom asset inventories.
• Correspond to the Corp-IT team in cross-departmental infrastructure meetings and strategic planning sessions.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and industry best practices.

Requirements

• 8+ years of enterprise networking and telecom support experience.
• 5+ years managing cloud-based telecom systems and contact center platforms.
• Expertise in SIP, RTP, QoS, and VoIP protocols.
• Knowledge of Cisco Meraki, Palo Alto Prisma, and Genesys is a plus.
• Strong communication, documentation, and time management skills.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

• Base salary range of $120,000 to $150,000.
