Triage Nurse - Remote

Overview

As a Triage Nurse at Hummingbird, you’ll provide telephone triage, guiding patients through their healthcare needs with clinical judgment and empathy.

Requirements

• Current, unrestricted RN license in North Carolina.
• 1+ years outpatient telephone triage experience.
• Strong clinical assessment skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Comfort in a remote contact center environment.
• Ability to document and type at ~50 WPM.
• Commitment to patient privacy and HIPAA compliance.
• Experience using Epic is a plus.
• Willingness to obtain additional licensure if needed.
• Ability to handle emotionally charged situations.
