The Triage Nurse is a remote Registered Nurse providing telephone and electronic triage support to individuals with serious mental illness, focusing on care coordination and support for outpatient care.

Requirements

• Active RN license in a Nurse Licensure Compact state.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• At least 3 years of clinical care experience in an Emergency Department.
• Experience with behavioral health and substance use disorders.
• Care management and coordination experience.
• Strong triage and prioritization skills.
• Empathy and compassion in patient interactions.
• Creative problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to obtain licensure in non-compact states.
• Certification in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing is a plus.
