The Clinical Documentation Integrity Specialist (CDIS) is a key member of firsthand’s clinical documentation team, ensuring accurate, comprehensive, and timely clinical documentation to support optimal care for individuals with serious mental illness.

Requirements

  • Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC).
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of risk adjustment-focused medical record review experience.
  • Fluent knowledge of ICD-10 CM Official Guidelines.
  • Proficiency in productivity tools like spreadsheets and EHR systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience working remotely.
