Overview

The CDI Specialist -QA will serve as a quality assurance leader by auditing the work of Clinical Documentation Integrity Specialists and Coders, ensuring complete, accurate, and compliant diagnostic documentation and coding.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field or equivalent experience.
• Current certification as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC).
• Minimum of 3 years experience in Clinical Documentation Integrity.
• Deep understanding of HCC risk adjustment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience delivering feedback to peers.
• Ability to identify documentation gaps.
• Experience with outpatient clinical workflows.
• Skilled in synthesizing audit results.
