Overview

As Senior Counsel, Corporate, you will be a key strategic partner to Headway’s Finance, Payer, and Operations teams during a pivotal growth phase for the company, working in a mission-driven healthcare technology environment.

In Short

• Lead Headway’s Corporate legal function.
• Manage corporate transactions including equity or debt financings and M&A.
• Maintain Management Services and Medical Practice agreements.
• Oversee board governance and record keeping.
• Support Finance and Accounting teams on legal audit and tax matters.
• Handle Intellectual Property and Corporate Insurance matters.
• Collaborate with Procurement and Legal Operations to enhance corporate systems.
• Translate complex legal topics for non-legal stakeholders.
• Build relationships and consensus among colleagues.
• Work in a fast-paced, high-growth start-up environment.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in good standing.
• Deep understanding of corporate work in healthcare.
• Experience in a high-growth start-up environment.
• Ability to provide clear legal advice.
• Strong relationship-building skills.
