Senior Corporate Counsel - Remote

Overview

The Senior Corporate Counsel will provide legal expertise in the acquisition, development, financing, and sale of solar energy and energy storage projects, supporting the company’s expansion and growth.

In Short

• Negotiate, review, and manage all legal aspects of project acquisition, development, financing, and sales.
• Manage outside counsel for the company’s business.
• Support due diligence and project development related issues.
• Draft and review consulting agreements and corporate legal documents.
• Coordinate with internal teams for risk management and project issues.
• Facilitate collaboration with Hanwha affiliates.
• Travel up to 10% is expected.
• Work closely with various departments within the company.
• Part of a dynamic and collaborative legal team.
• Reports to the General Counsel or another senior leader.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree and active Bar member.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience.
• 3 years of experience in infrastructure project development.
• Preferred experience in drafting and negotiating utility-scale PPAs.
• Direct experience with project financing concepts.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Strong team player with professionalism.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Outstanding sense of humor encouraged.
