1 in 4 people in the US have a treatable mental health condition, but the majority of providers don’t accept insurance, making therapy too expensive for most people. Headway is building a new mental healthcare system that everyone can access by making it easy for therapists to accept insurance and scale their practice.

Headway was founded in 2019. Since then, we’ve grown into a diverse, national network of over 45,000 mental healthcare providers across all 50 states who run their practice on our software and have served over 1 million patients. In Short

  • As a Senior Business Development Associate, you will lead market analysis and healthcare research.
  • You will build out sales infrastructure for health plan partnerships.
  • 3+ years of experience in consulting, banking, or similar roles is required.
  • Direct healthcare experience is a bonus.

  • Operational excellence and managing multiple tasks are key aspects of the role.
  • You will report to one of Headway’s Managing Principals.
  • Work remotely across the US with office options in NYC and San Francisco.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in consulting, banking, or similar roles.
  • Resourceful and able to manage complex problems.
  • Experience in healthcare is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous situations.
  • Strong analytical and operational skills.
