Overview

The Account Manager sales role at GuidePoint Security involves pro-actively networking, cold calling, and selling cybersecurity solutions to multiple contacts within the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community.

  • Meet sales and profitability goals consistently.
  • Increase activity to generate new business.
  • Report sales forecasts and opportunity funnels accurately.
  • Understand and position vendor technologies effectively.
  • Participate in field marketing efforts to generate client interest.
  • Maintain open communication with clients and vendors.
  • Leverage supporting resources in the sales process.
  • Present sales presentations to large groups and executives.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience selling to Federal Government Agencies.
  • Experience in a hunting sales role.
  • Familiarity with solution selling and cybersecurity.
  • Strong relationships with key accounts.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com.
  • Strong group presentation skills.
  • History of exceeding sales goals.
  • Experience in selling professional services is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Top Secret Clearance preferred.
