Overview

The Pathology Account Executive is responsible for driving growth in diagnostic pathology and precision oncology accounts by building strong partnerships with healthcare providers.

In Short

  • Drive overall tissue volume in assigned regions.
  • Promote precision oncology diagnostics and testing portfolio.
  • Execute Laboratory Service Agreements and manage pricing.
  • Target and close new business opportunities in pathology accounts.
  • Establish and nurture long-term relationships with healthcare professionals.
  • Deliver in-field training on diagnostic tests and workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve client issues.
  • Forecast sales and manage account pipelines via CRM.
  • Ability to travel more than 50% within territory.
  • 7+ years in account management in pathology sales or related roles.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, pathology, business, or related field.
  • Deep knowledge of FFPE Tissue based NGS / CGP testing.
  • Experience selling diagnostics directly to Pathologists preferred.
  • Strong consultative sales skills and customer-first mindset.
  • Familiarity with pathology billing and lab contracting.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to influence clinical decision-makers.
