Overview

This role is for an experienced field-based Account Executive in Oncology Sales at Guardant Health, focused on promoting and expanding the market for advanced oncology diagnostic products.

In Short

  • Drive strategic business expansion with major cancer centers and clinics.
  • Structure detailed strategic plans for client retention and acquisition.
  • Maximize client-bill contracting opportunities.
  • Implement laboratory services agreements.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to achieve company goals.
  • Analyze competitive landscape and provide feedback to leadership.
  • Monitor sales performance to ensure objectives are met.
  • Develop comprehensive business plans for the territory.
  • Represent the company culture to external and internal constituents.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of account management experience in molecular diagnostics.
  • 3-5 years working with cancer centers and large health systems.
  • Demonstrated revenue generation in diagnostics or biotechnology.
  • Ability to engage in consultative selling at executive levels.
  • Strong understanding of the oncology diagnostic landscape.
  • Excellent negotiation and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Frequent travel (over 50%) required.
