Overview

Green Thumb is seeking a talented Sales Manager to oversee our growing Massachusetts cannabis program. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible to ensure we meet and exceed our distribution targets and revenue growth targets. As a process manager you will be responsible for maximizing our sales team potential, influencing and educating our customers, developing sales & production strategies, maintaining budget/sales forecasts and manage the overall execution of the sales plan. You thrive in a growth, gritty environment and aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves and dive in. This role is best suited for an extroverted go-getter who doesn’t mind phone calls, driving and ample facetime. You will be in dispensaries often interacting with a variety of clientele. In Short

  • Oversee all functions of the sales lifecycle including sales forecasting, direct relationship management and development.
  • Develop annual and quarterly revenue plans in partnership with CGM.
  • Ensure stores have proper inventory levels through sales tools and in-store visits.
  • Provide insights on sales drivers and recommend new opportunities for growth.
  • Attend cannabis industry trade shows and events.
  • Partner with Finance and Operations on forecasting and budgeting activities.
  • Monitor the market for emerging trends and competition.
  • Work with Branding and Marketing teams on advertising strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree preferred.
  • 4+ years of outside sales experience, preferably in consumer packaged goods.
  • Knowledge of cannabis industry and regulations preferred.
  • Experience exceeding sales quotas.
  • Ability to build and execute a sales strategy.
  • Experience with P&L and budget management.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
  • Experience with sales management systems (i.e. Salesforce).
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently or in teams.
  • Must understand and comply with cannabis laws and regulations.
