As a New Business Account Executive, you will be at the forefront of GitLab’s growth strategy, focused on acquiring new logos and expanding market presence into untapped territories. You will work with sophisticated buyers at high-growth companies and enterprises, navigating complex sales cycles while maintaining the velocity and hunger of a true new business professional.

In Short

  • Own the full new logo acquisition cycle from prospecting through close
  • Build and maintain a 3-4x pipeline coverage through high-volume prospecting activities
  • Execute a disciplined daily prospecting cadence
  • Run 3-5 high-quality discovery meetings per day
  • Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes
  • Develop and execute strategic territory plans
  • Partner with Solutions Architecture and Customer Success
  • Master sales methodology to qualify opportunities
  • Maintain exceptional Salesforce hygiene
  • Exceed quarterly and annual quotas

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience
  • Proven track record as a top performer
  • Hunter mentality with exceptional pipeline generation skills
  • Experience with consumption-based or usage-based business models
  • Strong discovery and qualification capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex opportunities
