Overview

As a Commercial Account Executive at GitLab, you will be the primary point of contact for prospective and existing customers in the mid-market segment, focusing on companies with 100 to 1,999 employees. You will manage a diverse range of projects and work closely with the business development team to exceed client expectations.

  • Prospect and close new business to expand your territory.

  • Analyze wins/losses and communicate lessons learned.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Contribute product ideas based on customer feedback.
  • Master sales methodologies like MEDPICC and Command of the Message.

Requirements

  • Desire to help customers benefit from their investment with GitLab.
  • Experience in SaaS sales, preferably in DevOps.
  • Interest in GitLab and open source software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Motivated and results-oriented individual.
  • Excellent negotiation and closing abilities.
  • Preferred experience with Git and software development tools.
  • Alignment with GitLab's values.
  • Willingness to travel for in-person meetings.
