Overview

The Senior Software Engineer role within the Global Design IT team at GM focuses on developing resilient, AI and cloud-supported IT solutions to enhance vehicle design processes.

  • 5+ years of experience in web and desktop applications required.
  • Expertise in AI/ML technologies and cloud platforms is essential.
  • Competitive edge with knowledge of CAD tools and TeamCenter.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software architecture and design.
  • Proficiency in Python, Java, C#, .NET, Angular, and React.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and distributed systems.
  • Ability to debug code and collaborate with program management teams.
  • Enthusiastic about impacting the design business and culture.
  • Familiarity with Jira and GitHub is a plus.
