Senior Software Engineer - Kora Global - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Kora Global team, you will be instrumental in developing and improving Confluent's global replication offerings, working on highly available, reliable, secure, scalable, and multi-tenant aspects of Kora's orchestration layer.

In Short

• Work on next-generation Kafka as a cloud-native data serverless solution.
• Focus on global replication infrastructure including Cluster Linking and MultiRegion Cluster.
• Drive technical solutions end-to-end in collaboration with stakeholders.

• Identify root causes of issues and solve hard problems.

Requirements

• BS, MS, or PhD in computer science or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in cloud infrastructure or SaaS/PaaS services.
• Strong fundamentals in distributed systems design and development.
• Experience building and operating large-scale systems in the Cloud.
• Proficiency in Java, Scala, C/C++, Go or other statically typed languages.
