Overview

The Account Manager will be responsible for managing and expanding key accounts across India and the Middle East with a focus on cell culture media sales. This role combines account management, customer advocacy, and technical solution-selling.

  • Manage and expand strategic accounts across India and the Middle East.
  • Develop and execute account plans, mapping stakeholders and building long-term customer relationships.
  • Achieve annual sales targets and drive consistent revenue growth.
  • Identify new business opportunities in protein-based therapy and cell and gene therapy.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and long-term supply agreements.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and ensure accountability for revenue performance.
  • Partner with technical, product management, marketing, and operations to deliver customer-centric solutions.
  • Act as a customer advocate, ensuring best-in-class delivery and resolution of issues.
  • Provide insights into customer pipelines, bioprocessing strategies, and market trends.
  • Ensure compliance with quality systems and cGMP regulations.

Requirements

  • B.S. or B.A./MSc (Preferred).
  • Business fluency in English and local language depending on region/country.
  • Product knowledge in industry and market applications/workflows.
  • Effective communication and priority management skills.
  • Results-driven and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Knowledge of safety policies and regulations.
  • Teamwork and accountability.
  • Understanding of competition and customer tools/resources.
