Overview

The Strategic Accounts Director will be responsible for retaining and upselling some of Garner’s largest employer clients, ensuring they have an excellent experience and achieve expected results.

In Short

  • Own the process to retain and upsell employer clients.
  • Collaborate with account managers for client satisfaction.
  • Become a trusted partner for clients on plan design.
  • Resolve strategic problems for clients.
  • Establish and manage strategic broker and client relationships.
  • Monitor client health and execute strategic plans.
  • Collaborate with teams to deliver customized reports.
  • Drive improved net revenue retention and KPIs.

Requirements

  • Deep knowledge of health plan design and benefits.
  • 7+ years in account management or sales in employee benefits.
  • Focus on retention and growth of business.
  • Proven results in achieving retention and upsell targets.
  • Self-starter in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Problem solver in ambiguous situations.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Desire to improve the healthcare system.
