Overview

The Director, Strategic Accounts, will be responsible for supporting Iovance’s commercial goals by developing meaningful customer engagements and relationships, as well as executing tactics that will expand awareness and drive demand for the recent approval of AMTAGVI, a new and innovative cell therapy for advanced melanoma. The role will report to the Executive Director, Strategic Accounts and Commercial Learning & Development.

In Short

  • Execute a unified, strategic plan for community activation.
  • Initiate corporate relationships with Large Community Practice C-suites.
  • Lead relationship and engagement activities with key State Societies.
  • Oversee and coach a region/portion of the community sales team.
  • Collaborate with field-based teams for patient referrals.
  • Identify opportunities for education and collaboration with ATCs.
  • Participate in cross functional planning efforts for customer interactions.
  • Develop exceptional knowledge in advanced melanoma and AMTAGVI.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and healthcare laws.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of cross functional experience in key account management.
  • 5+ years of oncology experience; Cell Therapy experience preferred.
  • BA or BS degree required; postgraduate degree preferred.
  • Understands in-patient hospital systems and referral processes.
  • Demonstrates success in community oncology networks.
  • Understands impact of national/regional payer coverage policies.
  • Collaborative mindset of ongoing learning/development.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, resource constrained environment.
  • Demonstrates professional maturity and flexibility.
  • Ability to travel up to 60% of the time.
