In Short

  • The Business Unit Sales Manager is responsible for analyzing, developing, and implementing sales strategies within the business unit to achieve profitability.
  • Oversees territory sales through active management.
  • Maintains and grows existing customer accounts.
  • Develops relationships with regional and national customer bases.
  • Coordinates and attends regional tradeshows and territory seminars.
  • Participates in pricing negotiations and purchasing contracts.
  • Inputs contacts into the CRM software to track progress.
  • Develops and manages the assigned sales staff’s capabilities.
  • Works with product teams to develop products that will grow sales.
  • Communicates effectively with stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Seven to ten years of relevant experience in sales or marketing.
  • Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
