Overview

The Territory Sales Manager will represent Therma-Tru, Fypon, and Larson brands, focusing on growing sales in the Upstate New York territory by cultivating relationships with key distributor accounts.

In Short

  • Develop business plans and targets for market growth.
  • Maintain existing customer relationships while cultivating new ones.
  • Act as the primary contact for customer account issues.
  • Collaborate with Regional Managers on market pricing.
  • Train customers on Therma-Tru products.
  • Implement marketing and promotional programs.
  • Assist in resolving service issues with Customer Service Group.
  • Handle administrative tasks efficiently.
  • Maintain a current database of customers and prospects.
  • Attend trade shows as necessary.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of direct sales experience in the building products industry.
  • Experience with distributors, dealers, builders, and contractors.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field (nice to have).
  • Familiarity with CRM software (i.e. Hubspot) (nice to have).
  • Experience with multi-step distribution channels (nice to have).
  • Experience with sales forecasting (nice to have).
