Territory Sales Manager - Remote

Overview

Our client in the insurance industry is looking for a Remote Territory Sales Manager to join their Team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing agency relationships including setting and monitoring goals, ensuring consistent communication and follow-up while delivering superior levels of service.

In Short

• Identify new agencies in territory to contact
• Collaborate to determine contracted agency eligibility
• Report findings and meeting results timely and consistently
• Evaluate and maintain contact with agents and underwriters
• Assist agents to help build profitable book of business
• Assist underwriting and brokers as needed
• Conduct in person meetings and conference calls with agency contacts
• Maintain a log of contacts including owners, producers, and support staff
• Discuss your agency plan and call objectives with VP of Marketing
• 50% travel required (typically day trips; company car provided)

Requirements

• 5+ years commercial insurance experience required
• Background working for either an insurance agency or insurance carrier required
• Must reside in Central, Eastern, Northern, or Western Texas
