Fivetran is looking for a Senior Sales Engineer to support sales teams with deep technical knowledge of Fivetran's product offerings and data space. This remote position will involve working closely with prospects and sales team members to discuss how Fivetran fits within technology strategies.

In Short

Work one-on-one with prospects and sales team members.
Invent and implement creative solutions for edge-case issues.
Support sales teams with deep technical knowledge.
Serve as the technical liaison between sales and product/engineering teams.
Act as the primary resource for solving technical issues.
Engage with product and engineering teams on roadmap feedback.
Assist in documentation efforts for product offerings.
5+ years of technical experience in relevant fields.
2+ years of experience with Business Intelligence tools.
Available for up to 40% travel.

Requirements

5+ years of technical experience as a database administrator, backend engineer, or in IT services.
2+ years of experience demonstrating Business Intelligence tools.
Proficiency in SQL programming.
Knowledge of APIs and troubleshooting best practices.
Familiarity with Python scripting and REST APIs.
Ability to influence technical and business audiences.
Passion for data and analytics.
Working knowledge of Cloud Data Lakes concepts.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Curiosity to learn and share technical information.
