Senior Manual QA Engineer - Remote

Overview

Fivetran is building data pipelines to power the modern data stack for thousands of companies. We’re looking for a Senior QA Engineer with industry experience to drive manual exploratory testing, focusing on solving complex testing difficulties by designing and executing test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.

In Short

• Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.
• Arrange environments to execute the test cases.
• Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing.
• Analyze the requirements.
• Perform UX/UI testing.
• Communicate with test and product managers.
• Work with test plans.
• Report bugs and errors to development teams.
• Write test scenarios.
• Support other QA engineers through training and mentoring.

Requirements

• Proven 5+ experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing.
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
• Independence in creating test validation steps for complex end-to-end scenarios.
• Working knowledge of test management software (e.g., Jira Zephyr, TestRail).
• SQL knowledge.
• Attention to details.
• Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
• Experience in backend and front-end testing.
• Hands-on experience with cloud technologies & containerization methodologies like Docker, K8s.
