Overview

The Strategic Account Manager will oversee client relationships and business operations within a designated region, managing key accounts and driving regional growth.

In Short

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients within the assigned region.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Conduct agent training sessions on an individual and regional basis.
  • Achieve and exceed sales and revenue targets for the region.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and new business development.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute regional strategies.
  • Conduct regular account reviews to evaluate performance and strengthen relationships.
  • Use data-driven analysis to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Schedule and conduct monthly internal meetings with staff.
  • Responsible for improving overall agency production.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years experience marketing P&C including marketing to Independent Agents.
  • Experience training and developing agency staff.
  • Ability to problem solve and communicate well.
  • Understanding and reviewing agency qualifications for appointment.
  • Experience in selling and marketing P&C products is a plus.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills including presentation skills.
