Overview

The Senior Compensation Manager will support the compensation program design and strategy enterprise-wide, focusing on the company’s 32,000+ associates across the United States.

In Short

  • Support strategy, design, and policy development of compensation programs.
  • Oversee the Ferguson recognition program.
  • Partner with management on organization design and pay decisions.
  • Lead year-end compensation process with HR Operations.
  • Supervise effectiveness of existing compensation programs.
  • Develop innovative education and communication tools.
  • Maintain relationships with consultants and vendors.
  • Requires occasional travel to Newport News, VA.
  • Experience with diverse workforce compensation strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills required.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of progressively responsible experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required.
  • Experience in designing reward and recognition programs.
  • Knowledge of compensation laws and regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills and critical thinking.
  • Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven initiative to resolve problems efficiently.
  • Master’s degree or professional certification preferred.
  • Experience consulting/advising senior leaders.
  • Continuous improvement mindset.
