Overview

As a Cloud Engineer at Ferguson, you will design, implement, support, and optimize enterprise infrastructure across both on-premises and cloud environments, ensuring reliable and secure operations.

• Design and maintain infrastructure solutions across Azure and on-premises.
• Manage VMware virtualization platforms.
• Administer Linux and Windows servers.
• Support Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle database infrastructure.
• Monitor system health and performance.
• Assist with network-related tasks.
• Plan and complete ERP infrastructure migrations.
• Develop user documentation for system configurations.
• Collaborate with various teams for stable solutions.
• Some travel may be required.

Requirements

• 5+ years in cloud/systems engineering or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Strong experience with VMware vSphere.
• Proven administration experience with Linux and Windows.
• Working knowledge of SQL Server and Oracle.
• Understanding of networking concepts.
• Experience with ERP infrastructure environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
