Trust Accountant - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Trust Accountant to manage trust accounting functions, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and accurate financial transactions.

In Short

• Work-from-anywhere in Australia on a 6 months fixed term contract.
• Manage trust accounting functions and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Experience in trust account management and reconciliation is required.
• Assist with the CRM transition from Agentbox to REX.
• Daily receipting and reconciliation of trust accounts.
• Maintain and manage trust ledgers.
• Prepare and deliver Account Sale Tax invoices.
• Liaise with auditors for compliance with regulations.
• Review settlements and ensure smooth fund transfers.
• Support the Finance team in transaction setups.

Requirements

• Experience in real estate trust accounting.
• Familiarity with CRM systems like Agentbox or REX.
• Strong understanding of trust accounting regulations.
• Experience with trust accounting software.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple settlements concurrently.
• Strong time management skills.
